DESCRIPTION:SESC Pompeia, SP, presents: Fred Martins in the show “Ultramarino”\nIn this concert, Fred Martins will perform the songs from his latest album, Ultramarino, released simultaneously by the Brazilian label Biscoito Fino and the European label Alfa Music. The concert is based on the album (produced by Hector Castillo – winner of four Latin Grammys and who has worked with David Bowie, Björk, Lou Reed and Philip Glass, among others) and is guided by the musical base of the artist’s Bossanova lineage, transiting through sounds of Moorish influence.\nIn Ultramarino Fred Martins reaffirms, with mastery in the voice/guitar language, the musical connection between Africa, the Iberian Peninsula and Brazil.\nThe concert will feature special guests Marcelo Costa (drummer/percussionist), and Lui Coimbra, who recorded the cello in “Semente”, the song that opens the album Ultramarino.\n🗓️ Friday – June 24, 2022\n🕘 9 pm\n📍 SESC Pompeia, Rua Clélia 93, Pompeia, São Paulo\n🎟️ Tickets available online starting on June 14\n
